Fragrance Project Manager & Evaluator (Maternity Cover)

Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Duration: 5 Months (April – September)

We are seeking a high-caliber Project Manager & Evaluator to lead the olfactive quality, assessment, and coordination of fragrance reformulation projects across our global portfolio. You will act as the vital link between technical compliance, sensory evaluation, and creative development.
 

Responsibilities

Lead Reformulations: Drive the end-to-end management of fragrance reformulation workstreams, ensuring all products meet olfactive and technical standards.
Olfactive Guidance: Provide precise, professional feedback and briefing to Perfumers, Fragrance Houses, and Product Development teams.
Project Oversight: Coordinate sensory evaluation sessions, track project milestones, and manage data entry/databases to ensure «on-time» delivery.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coach project teams and maintain seamless communication across departments to align on priorities.
 

Profile

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Science, ideally specializing in Sensory Evaluation.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Fragrance Evaluation or Account Management within a Fragrance House or Beauty company.
Technical Expertise: Proven ability to drive fragrance modifications using professional olfactive descriptors. Experience with reformulation/compliance programs is a significant plus.
Soft Skills: A mix of data-driven decision-making and olfactive intuition. You must be rigorous, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced lab/office environment.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
