Financial Accountant
For our clients office in Basel, we are currently looking for a motivated Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to support with the reporting, audits and the revenue recognition process.
start date: 01/12/2024 end date: 30/06/2025 (with the option on extension) workload: 100% location: Basel (CH) work model: Contracting Your Tasks:
Month-End Reporting:

Execute various month-end reporting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial close

Ad Hoc Support for Controlling Community

Provide ad hoc support to the controlling community, including Record to Report (RTR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
Assist in resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy in financial records
Work closely with the SSC Manchester team to support various financial operations

Audit Support:

Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries
Support the revenue recognition testing during the group audit

Revenue Recognition Process Support:

Support the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to accurately recognize and report revenue

Your Profile:

University degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting
3+ years of experience within Accounting
first touching points with audit support
Good level of understanding of standard finance processes and reporting standarts
Fluent in German and English language skills
Responsible and independent worker
Enthusiastic Teamplayer with very good communication skills
